Interactive Content

FeedbackFruits Interactive Document and Video

FeedbackFruits is a platform that offers a suite of pedagogical tools to enhance student engagement and learning. KFUPM has institutional license of two of its most useful tools: Interactive Document and Interactive Video, which allow instructors to share reading materials or videos with students in a more engaging and interactive format. These tools enable faculty to embed questions, discussion prompts, and reflection points directly into documents or videos, turning passive content consumption into active learning experiences. As students interact with the content, their responses and participation are tracked, giving instructors detailed insights into individual student engagement levels. This data can help identify students who may need additional support and inform instructional decisions to improve learning outcomes.

The tool is integrated with Blackboard. An instructor can access FeedbackFruits through Content Market in a Blackboard Ultra course (through Build Content menu in Blackboard Original course) to add an item of interactive content in a Blackboard course.

BookWidgets

For English Language Department Only

BookWidgets is a digital tool that enables university faculty to create interactive learning activities and assessments that can be easily shared with students online or in the classroom. With over 40 customizable templates—including quizzes, worksheets, timelines, games, and interactive diagrams—BookWidgets allows instructors to transform traditional course content into engaging, student-centered experiences. These activities can be embedded in learning management systems or shared directly with students, and they automatically generate real-time data and analytics on student performance and engagement. This helps faculty track progress, provide timely feedback, and adapt instruction based on individual or group needs, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning.

The tool has been licensed at KFUPM on the request of English Language department and is currently for use at English Language Department only.
